The first Hindi film which Bindiya had featured in was Jeevan Jyoti opposite Vijay Arora, Bindiya forged ahead and met success with director Basu Chatterjee's Khatta Meetha and Prem Vivah. Her feature in the film Golmaal helped her gain the biggest hit of her career.
