Amitabh Bachchan to undergo minor surgery
Posted on 10th February 12

Amitabh Bachchan is to undergo a scan and a surgery for an undisclosed condition.
However, the actor has revealed so far that the condition is to do with his near fatal accident on the set of 1982 film Coolie.
Bachchan had previously suffered a chest injury when filming Ram Gopal Varma’s Department in September.

Bachchan wrote on this blog: "My stomach which has already been the bed of many complicated battles in the past shall have to entertain this as well. It´s a war zone, my body, and one which has been through a great deal and still does.

"I sometimes lament the fact that I do not have the benefit of a complete and ailment free body structure, and I wonder how wonderful it would be to be normal again. But this was my fate and I shall accept it with a smile."

In October, the 69-year-old legend admitted that he wants to continue acting and take on more challenging roles.
This just goes to show how hardworking and dedicated Amitabh Bachchan is as a bollywood actor who has been in the film industry for 39 years and doesn’t seem to be stopping any time soon. We just wish that the surgery is nothing to serious and he makes a speedy recovery so we can see him on our cinema screens once again.
