Karan Johar’s Twitter account has been hacked

Karan Johar has announced that his twitter account has fallen victim to hackers.

The Dharma Productions head said that his and actor Kamal Rashid Khan´s micro-blogging sites had been attacked.

Johar posted: "So something weird happening to my Twitter account Its sending random DM´s to the twitterati. Please be warned. Even KRK´s account is hacked!"

The Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu producer has gathered nearly 800,000 followers since joining the site in July 2009.

Khan later apologised for the abusive content of messages sent out from his account while it was hacked.

"Friends I have just got back my account. I am really sorry for all the bad tweets since morning. Thanks GOD I got it," wrote the Deshdrohi star.

Bollywood figures Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mahesh Bhatt and Arbaaz Khan have all had their twitter accounts hacked in the past.

Who hacked Karan Johar’s account and how was it made possible for them to hack his account and why isn’t twitter doing anything to prevent such incidents from happening. Will twitter do anything in the future or will we hear in the news that another bollywood star has their account hacked?
