GAJAR KA HALWA (CARROT HALWA)
Ingredients
-½ kilo milk
-1 cup sugar
-1 kilo carrots (grated)
-1 ½ cup ghee
- 5-6 cardamom pods (illaichi)
-Few drops kewda or rose water
-1/4 kilo khoya
Preparation
-Heat the milk in a pan and add the grated carrots and let it cook
-When the milk has dried up, stir well, add the ghee and stir again then add the sugar and keep stirring
-Put the illaichi in followed by the kewda/rose water
-After 2 minutes remove from the heat and sprinkle the khoya crumbs on top and enjoy your carrot halwa. Eat hot.
Optional: You may add pistachios and raisons if you prefer.

HOME MADE FACE MASK
-Take 2 spoonfuls of chickpea flour (Besan) and add a pinch of tumeric to it
-Then add a few drops of fresh lemon juice, mix all this with plain water or rose water
-Apply this mixture to your face and neck then peel the mask off before it dries up completely
-Wash your face and neck with water and rub in some good moisturizer to help your skin nourish
